Arch House, a 12” scale Georgian Town House, was commissioned by me so that I might have the pleasure of furnishing it in the style of the 18^th Century.  Until the first lock down in 2020, I was a professional picture framer and gilder. Then to fill my time, I worked on creating scaled miniatures after already started to teach myself to build tiny furniture, mirrors and framed prints with assistance from books and following YouTube. Miniature furniture making has now become a passion of mine from the commissioning of the piece to the pattern / design research and creating to cutting the wood, shaping and lathing through to the finished article.
