Description
Pretty little regency style mirror that I made from scratch and then gold leafed, using 23 carat, Italian gold.
The tiny ‘balls’ running underneath the top were rolled by hand, using the tradition jesso base for gold leafing, which is a mixture of rabbit skin glue, water and chalk.
The second photograph is the superior, but neither my Brother (who’s camera skills far superior to mine), or myself noticed it was hanging upside down!
